$39.99 + HST per 30-minute semi-private lesson (1 instructor, 2 adults) or $64.99 + HST private (just you), at 5100 Satellite Drive, Mississauga. One 8-week season at 1 lesson per week is $319.92 + HST semi-private. You pay $0 when you book and try your first lesson risk-free, and there are no registration fees.
Do you teach adults who have never swum?
Yes, many of our adult students are beginners, and some are nervous in the water. Lessons are private (just you and the instructor) or semi-private (you and one other adult). You start in the shallow end on the steps and nothing happens before you are ready.
Can adults learn to swim in 8 to 16 lessons?
Yes, that is the goal: in 8 to 16 lessons you get over the fear of deep water, float on your own and swim on your own in the shallow or deep end, a confident, independent swimmer. Our guarantee: come to every lesson of the season, and if you can’t swim 20 to 30 metres on your own and tread water for 20 seconds to 1 minute by the end of it, your next season is free (same number of lessons per week). When are adult lessons?
Fall Season adult lessons start Sundays at 2:30 PM and Monday to Thursday at 7:00 or 7:30 PM (30-minute lessons) at 5100 Satellite Drive, Mississauga. You book one weekly time and keep it for the season.
Can I learn with my partner or a friend?
Yes. Two adults in one semi-private time each pay $39.99 + HST per lesson, and your first weekly time is full price. Every weekly time you add after that, a 2nd lesson per week for the same swimmer, or a sibling, partner or friend joining with their own time, gets its first lesson free. That is $45.19 off per extra time for semi-private, or $73.44 for private, HST included. Two swimmers at 2 lessons per week saves three lessons; three swimmers at 3 lessons per week saves eight ($361.51). Add-on times need 4 or more lessons. Using make-up tokens too? A weekly time gets at most 2 free lessons in total, so a weekly time that already has its first lesson free can use 1 token.
Is anyone else in the pool?
Other Apex lessons may be running in the pool at the same time, each with its own instructor. Your instructor is only teaching your swimmer or pair, and there is no class of strangers.
What if I hate my first lesson?
Booking costs $0 today. If your first lesson isn’t for you, cancel within 24 hours after it, from the link we text you or by calling (437) 292-4611, and you pay nothing at all.
